About Us

Hi ,

My name’s Neil, I’m 52 and EX forces ( Army )

I’ve always had a love for keeping fit since I joined the Army back in ’85. I did my PTI’s course in the early stages of my career but took a different career path. Within my last 5 years of the leaving the forces I started to use the PT qualification more.

I’ve been doing Personal Training now for over 3.5 years and have used my Military knowledge doing exercises, either circuits, boot camp style weighted exercises and also in the gym.

You must be aiming for 30-45 min sessions 3 x 5 per week, to enable the best results for yourself. Remember fitness is good for the mind as well as for maintaining your pyshique.

These are what I like to do and can achieve with the right minded client.
You don’t have to be fit and busting out, just have the commitment to push yourself wholeheartedly.

Neil is preparing me for my Royal navy training.

Neil has been a fantastic PT from the start.
Considering his previous military background it has been perfect for me when it comes to getting fit to join the Royal Navy.

He has been both supporting and encouraging since the beginning.
His training program is perfect for me and not only that he has offered sound advice when it comes to nutrition.

What I find most endearing however is the friendly non-formal way of service. Niel is a delight to chat to and makes each session a good experience and laugh.

I would seriously recommend Niel to anyone who is planning on joining any branch of the forces; as he will tailor a program specifically for that particular branches requirements.

Weekly PT sessions.

Today we did some new exercises as my knee started to hurt (pre-existing issue) halfway through some weights, so it was good to do these. Neil always watches and listens to how it feels so I'm confident we are doing the right exercises. Really enjoyable and lots of laughs as always.

Upper/lower/shoulders legs/core - fully body

Bi weekly sessions have continued. Neil has continued with his support and expert advise. He has now introduced some boxing sessions which have given me a motivational boost.

Weekly PT sessions

Another great session with Neil today. Neil is always ready to motivate me in the mornings and always has a packed workout ready for me which is always a challenge. Really starting to enjoy going to the gym now especially the days I train with Neil and he has really increased my confidence so much. He has really helped me to relax and focus more during my PT sessions instead of being self conscious and worrying about being in the gym.

Twice a Week Workouts

I have only recently started having Personal Training sessions with Neil. I was extremely anxious to go to the gym but he makes me feel completely at ease and I no longer have that worry. I look forward to every session with Neil as he is encouraging and supportive which really helps my motivation. Neil is firm but also very understanding and notices if I am feeling uncomfortable which was one of my main concerns about starting the gym do I really appreciate that about him a lot. I would definitely recommend him to anybody on Fitbook if you're looking for a personal trainer as he is not only helping my physical goals but in such a short time has improved my confidence so much.

Bi Weekly Training Sessions with Full Body, Cardio and HIIT

I’ve been partaking in Personal Training sessions with Neil for two years now! My bi weekly sessions are always very motivational and inspiring. My fitness and strength is improving constantly and I look forward to each visit with both trepidation and excitement!! My confidence has greatly improved. Neil has pushed me to achieve my goals and often gives me nutritional advice. He is patient, encouraging but firm. Highly recommend you drop Neil a message and book your first session if you want the best Personal Trainer Fitbook has to offer. 😀

Weekly PT sessions.

I love my weekly PT sessions as Neil works me hard, encourages me to go one step further and gives lots of positive feedback. The time flies by as we do a range of exercises using all types of gym equipment, and I never get bored!! He has made a real difference to my fitness and my life. I would not hesitate to recommend Neil.
