Personal Training services at my local gym

Jose has been my personal trainer for around 2 months - and apart from being an enjoyable process it has been the most rapid and significant improvement to my fitness I have ever undergone.

From easily putting on a few kg of muscle, seeing noticeable improvement week on week, and just generally being noticed and complimented on my improved physique - the results from the training have been extremely tangible.

Jose's years of experience are what drew me to him, and I have to say that this really shines through. When you are trusting someone to push you beyond your limits, having years of PT and personal fitness experience is extremely valuable in making sure that you do so in a safe & fully optimised way.

Jose is always extremely motivating, professional, and pleasant to work with. I would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone interested in personal training.

Jose has really helped me to gain more strength and stamina.

During my time training with Jose it has been challenging but this has helped me to accomplish my dream. He has taught me that if you don't work hard for what you want to achieve then you will never be able to achieve it. Jose has taught me to be confident no matter what size you are because your body is your temple and you should always respect and love yourself. Without Jose I really wouldn't be able to achieve my goals. He would always say to me "it's all in your mind", this quote has given me a lot of strength and courage and has taught me that the mind can control you and make you do anything you want to do in life.

Mainly strength and conditioning

Been going to the gym for years but found not getting the results and kept getting injured. Met Jose at my first ever gym induction 15 years ago and by pure coincidence he was now working at my new gym.
We started again with the basics and built up. With diet and training advice I progressed really quickly and can’t thank him enough. Sadly I don’t live in London anymore otherwise I would still be using him.

Strength building and weight loss

I started working out with Jose at a very low point in my life, I was at the heaviest weight I've ever been and had lost all confidence. The idea of a PT never crossed my mind until Jose approached me, he gave me a taster session and that's when everything changed for me. Fast forward 8 months later, I have lost 12kg! I'm regaining my confidence and stronger (mentally & physically) than I've ever been.
Jose is very passionate about his job, he will motivate and push your limits. l will recommend Jose if you're looking for a friendly, focused, experienced and supportive PT! But you must be ready to put in the work!

Personal training

Jose Ruiz has been my personal trainer at The Gym in Wood Green since 2017.

It's been quite an enjoyable experience working with him. My levels of fitness have improved steadily from the onset. I find him very motivating as he pushes me to work harder to achieve levels of fitness that I would have found quite difficult by exercising alone, for example progressing by slowly adding more weights into my routine, or what machines to use for different parts of the body.

He also provided me with useful guidance on what supplements, vitamins or minerals might be appropriate in order to improve health or overcome physical symptoms such as tiredness, fatigue or aches and pains.

Jose is also very easy going and friendly which in turn makes him approachable nd therefore easier to ask questions, raise concerns and even talk about life outside the gym - which is good for mental well being. It often feels like I have a life coach and a personal trainer all rolled into one.

The most amazing training!!!

I appreciate the amount of time Jose spent meeting with me at the gym. This type of exercising is all new to me. Thank you for answering all of my questions and demonstrating all of the moves for me.
I will not stop seeing Jose the best recommendation i can offer to everyone.
I saw results after 2 weeks and after 4 weeks proper changes, I just feel another person.

Personal Trainer at my local gym

Before I met Jose I was going to the gym not knowing what I was doing and wasn't seeing any positive results making me demotivated. I then decided to look for a PT which is when I decided to go with Jose. He taught me from scratch and guided me throughout my journey. As I was a beginner, Jose was very patient with me and made sure I was doing each task correctly which showed me he really cares for his clients and isn't just waiting for time to go by.

I am finally starting to see results and I can only thank Jose for the continued support and commitment he has for all his clients.

Gaining Muscle, and loosing fat.

I have been able to gain a greater understanding on how to build my muscles and lose fat. Jose is really good at giving advice on what to eat during the week, to carry out tips that help you train easier. Plus, Jose also gives you great recovery times during your training with him.
