About Us

Hello, I’m Daniel Millen.

I am a qualified and accredited Personal Trainer with over 10 years of extensive experience. I’ve already helped hundreds of men and women of all ages and abilities reach their goals. Whether you want to loose a few pounds, build muscle or improve your overall health I have the knowledge and skills to create a plan tailored for you.

Over the years I have gained a reputation for my coaching technique and getting results for my clients, regardless of the experience they have with exercise or nutrition. Through working with a diverse group of clients, I’ve come to realise that everybody is unique, each with their own goals and lifestyle. I will construct a plan and training schedule according to your fitness experience and needs that will have you seeing results in no time. My aim is to help you identify your fitness goals, design an exercise program that fits your personal needs and guide you through every exercise of every workout.

We’ve worked on my eating habits as well as progressively overloading in the gym.

I am very happy with Daniels professionalism- he has helped me move forward with my body faster than I would ever done myself. He pushes me hard, I highly suggest him to anyone who asks.

He is very good at his job, we’re moving at incredible pace compare to when I was by myself.

Personal training - weight gain

I have been training with Dan for over two years now and I am beyond happy with my results. I am a hard gainer and always struggled gaining weight. I’m a yoga teacher by trade and I’m very confident on a yoga mat but my confidence on the gym floor was very low, I felt very uneasy and intimidated by the equipment, my lack of knowledge and had no clue what to do to build muscle. 2 years on and I am over the moon with my progress, my confidence has improved MASSIVELY. I would now happily go in the gym and train on my own. I will continue my training with Dan as it is such an integral part of my physical development.

Building my leg and glute strength has helped massively with my yoga practice, and with my general strength and stamina.

Dan is VERY encouraging, understanding and supportive. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Lockdown PT

I’ve been training with Dan for a couple of years now. But since lockdown and the gym being closed it has been so difficult to train. Dan has gone above and beyond for me by finding an appropriate location purchasing his very own equipment and training me outdoors to keep me on track. Dan has helped with my diet, nutrition and workouts. Not only has Dan done outdoor PT with me, he has also created home workout plans for me.

I honestly couldn’t recommend him more. He is a outstanding PT

Resistance training for Fat Loss

Dan is incredibly professional and knowledgeable, his sessions are enjoyable and yet challenging. He is highly motivating and encouraging during the sessions as well as offering support for any concerns/ questions outside of sessions. Lost body fat but gained muscle mass

I was always a regular gym goer but hit a wall with my training. Went to Dan and with a few slight chances to my diet and training methods had me losing body fat but gaining muscle mass and hit personal bests with weights. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Top trainer.

Continued Outdoor Training While Gyms Are Closed

I've been keeping in touch with Dan Millen Fitness by doing outdoor personal training. Lockdown Training

Dan is just amazing!! All though this pandemic he has kept me on tack with my training and my eating since not having the gym i have struggled a lot with my mental health, Dan has been so supportive during this time keeping me on track and helping me push though my days. I love that I’m still progressing even though I can’t get to the gym.

Without Dans Training I Would Of Been A Mess

I’ve trained with Dan since June 2019 and he is absolutely amazing at what he does

Times are really hard now with Coronavirus, I have struggled mentally and physically and Dan has been there helping me and keeping me going through it all. Because of lockdowns and gyms being closed to help me Dan has been setting online workouts and meeting me at a distance outdoors to train me. Without dans help I would of been a mess.

I couldn't recommend Dan more if it tried. He is absolutely amazing.

Continued Support Through Online Training

Dan has been amazing even during lockdown. He continued support online through an app that he designed workouts on which was tailored to the equipment I had available, and once we were able to do face to face work outdoors, we began that. If anybody is on Fitbook looking for a Personal Trainer in the Newcastle area, I couldn't recommend Dan Millen any more!

Dan Has Been My Online PT Now For A Few Months.

Great aervice, always on hand to help, answer any questions and to check up on your progress. All that you would expect from a good professional personal trainer. Fitbook have some top pros and Dan Miller is certainly one. Dan has been my online pt now for a few months. He has been a great coach, with all the knowledge of what to do, setting my workouts and nutrition. He always in contact if i message about stuff. Would definitely recommend him.

Strength Training & Fitness

Worked with Dan Millen a lot over the years. Very knowledgeable in all aspects of training. Muscle Gain & Fat Loss

Been personal training with Dan Millen for well over a year now, I’ve made great improvements in building muscle and losing body fat. Even through lockdown I was able to still keep up training and getting results by Dan sending me home workouts to do daily and adjusting my diet when needed.

Personal Training For Weight Loss

I’ve been training with Dan Millen Fitness for over a year now, but because of lockdown I took a break. Dan worked super hard in lockdown to keep me active and on track, but for my own fault I did gain weight (like most) However, since the gym has reopened and I had the lockdown break I couldn’t wait to get back training again with Dan, he got my determination and drive back.
Since training again Dan has helped me loose the lockdown weight. I really look forward to my sessions each week as Dan tailors them to me and makes them fun while pushing me to what I’m capable of. I couldn’t recommend Dan from Fitbook more.

Started to train with dan last year, one week in to my training i found out i was pregnant. Dan tailored my pt session to make them safe and enjoyable for me as istill wanted to train. My fitness massively improved during the time i was training with him. Would definitely recommend dan.

Weight Loss & Toning

I can’t recommend Dan Millen Fitness enough, I joined the gym In January but was too nervous to leave the treadmill & was getting increasingly bored!
Contacted Dan & started 1-2-1 PT sessions, he helped me with my confidence in & around the gym including what weights to use for legs/arms and Helped me build more strength too!
I would never ever have attempted to lift 110kg on my legs yet within a few weeks I was doing this with Dans help.
Not only that I was attending the gym & doing the sets he had shown me on my own too!
Can’t wait to start again, Thanks for your help! x

Personal Training, group sessions, nutrition and fitness advice.

Trained with Dan Millen Fitness for 3 years, after weightlifting independently for approx 4 years. After a free advice and workout session I could tell Dan knew his stuff and was a genuine trainer on Fitbook. While training with Dan I hit many targets we set and always progressed. Personal Training.

Dan Millen Fitness is always on time for sessions. Clearly has a lot of knowledge, experience and a passion in what he does.
