Physio for lower back pain

I have suffered with lower back pain for a couple of years now and was struggling with everyday tasks and the exercises I enjoyed. Within a few sessions my pain was significantly better and a lot more manageable. Very knowledgeable regarding chronic pain issues. Would recommend to anyone dealing with the same

Physio Consultation on My Injured Wrist

I have known Chris many years and find him knowledgable, compassionate and great at asking the right questions to understand the issue (from chronic back pain to new injuries). He’s so committed to his patients’ wellbeing. I sought advice last week for a sprained wrist. Chris gave clear and timely advice on caring for the injury but also quickly diagnosed the risk of fracture to the scaphoid bone. Off I went to the RVI next day and he was right - so we’ll resume my wrist rehab once the cast is off! Thanks Chris.

Physio for Tennis Elbow

I first went to see Chris as I was having problems with Tennis Elbow from weightlifting. He quickly diagnosed the problem and set me up with a series of
exercises to perform at home. The improvement was incredible and I was back lifting (carefully) within a couple of weeks. A few months on and my Elbow is
in full working order.

Now my elbow is sorted he is providing a great sports massage service. I am currently upping my running miles for an Ultra Marathon
and Chris is making sure my calves, hamstrings and glutes remain in tip top condition.

I would highly recommend Chris Hainsworth for both Physiotherapy and Sports Massage treatments for anybody looking on Fitbook for such.

Massage, Acupuncture and Tailored Exercises.

I have seen Chris about two different issues, lower back stiffness and migraine caused by neck tension.
I received acupuncture for migraine which has helped me relax around the neck and head, removing migraines and leaving me feeling generally more relaxed.
Chris is good at finding troublesome areas and manipulating muscles until they are released. He gave me advice for long term management of lower back stiffness through exercises and lifestyle changes as well as the hands on treatment.
Chris Hainsworth really cares about his patients recovery and takes time with you to make sure he is addressing your needs. I would definitely see him again if I had any other problems, anybody on Fitbook looking for any Physiotherapy in Newcastle, you should definitely get in touch!

Worked With Pain In My Hip and Glute and Got Me Back Running!

Chris helped me so much. He took care to listen to what I was saying, and at each appointment checked in again on how the pain was, and where. He gave me exercises each week, with videos that supported me doing them right - and I still use them now to keep me running well and without injury. Chris is very personable, we got on well, and his space is very professional. I was worried that I'd pushed myself too hard and caused too much injury, so I was thrilled when he identified the issue and worked with me to help it recover. I would definitely recommend working with Chris, and would have no hesitation to work with him again if I need to.

Physiotherapy / Acupuncture

After seeing a variety of physiotherapists over the last few years without much success, a friend recommended Chris, to see if he could help with persistent migraines and chronic neck and shoulder pain. At the initial consultation, much to my relief, Chris identified the cause of my pain almost immediately.

Chris designed a personalised plan for me, with strengthening exercises to help with the pain, which included some ‘ hands on’ treatment followed by some sessions of acupuncture which he advised would also help with the constant migraines.

I started to notice a real difference after only a couple of sessions ,and the treatment I have received from Chris has really helped relieve my neck and shoulder pain and dramatically reduced my migraines. I can now go about my daily life as normal, and enjoy going to the gym again, something I couldn’t do due to the pain I was experiencing.

Chris has been fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone experiencing joint or muscle pain. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable with a friendly manner.

Lower Back

I have seen Chris on several occasions for my neck pain and lower back pain. More recently I suffered with muscle spasms in my lower back and I was unable to walk with the pain. Chris offered great advice and helped 'loosen' my lower back which enabled me to feel less 'stiff' and I was able to move better than at the start of the session. Chris is very friendly, knowledgeable and caring, he really makes you feel like you are being listened to.

Physiotherapy From Hip To Foot

I came to Chris with what I thought was a problem with my hip, which was affecting my training and posture outside of training. Chris took one look at me and managed to diagnose straight away just by looking at me that the issue originated from my feet, which in turn affected the IT band in my leg causing the issue. He treated me and gave me exercises to do, which really helped and in just a few sessions, the pain was gone and my posture had improved.
